A struggling family fights for a great inheritance against a bigamous crime, and with power from above, spiritual warfare is unleashed.
Set in New York, 1982, we witness the life-altering accident of Carl Jackson as he fills an 18-wheeler tire with air. Fast forward eight years, we meet Sallymae Jackson, a woman who claims to be "satisfied" with her humble life in a deteriorating home, is thrust into a surreal spiritual journey when she receives an unexpected summons. This legal notice reveals her estranged husband's accident and that his million-dollar estate, requires a conservator—the role typically assigned to his "wife." Chaos ensues as Diedra Jackson, Carl's bigamous spouse, and her lawyer, Mr. Burns, set out to take Sallymae to court, starting an astonishing legal battle by falsely claiming her "whereabouts unknown."
Sallymae, already burdened by bills, work, a daughter's drug addiction, and the maintenance of her home, grapples with the weight of being a single mother. The prospect of confronting lies, legal tactics, and a complex governmental system only compounds her struggles. However, her determined eldest daughter, Roxanne Milton, refuses to be silenced and relentlessly pushes for their day in court. She wants better for her mother and believes God sent the summons. Over time, Sallymae musters the courage, armed with her marriage license and the promise of financial relief, to agree to try the case.
Stepping into the courtroom, Sallymae shocks her opponents by revealing that she is, in fact, alive. A gripping legal battle ensues as Deidra and Mr. Burns present their own marriage license, dragging on for five challenging years. The family faces impatience, doubt, illness, and the looming threat of eviction, testing their perseverance. But a turning point arrives when a supernatural encounter, an angelic visit, provides crucial information that propels their case forward. This experience deepens Sallymae's connection to the divine, and they receive what they can only describe as a "war chest" of blessings from Jesus. Actual dreams begin to manifest, along with unusual happenings around the house.
Initially, Sallymae dismissed these occurrences as mere coincidences, but their frequency grew undeniable. Each time she closed her eyes, it seemed like heaven whisked her away to new places, prompting her to document her extraordinary journey. Their voyage takes the entire family from the depths of poverty into a profound spiritual realm, guided by the unwavering leadership of Roxanne and their deep connection with Christ. Their story transcends the ordinary experiences of most, affirming that God is at play.

Amid the chaos, it's within the boundless grace of Jesus, who embodies omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence, that we unearth solace and embrace our profound purpose.
The Holy Bible, often regarded as God's love letter to humanity, possesses the power to resonate on even deeper levels when brought to life through cinema.
Over the past decade, a string of triumphant Christian films, including "War Room" (2015), the "God's Not Dead" series (2014-2021), and "Jesus Revolution" (2023), have remarkably outshone their budgets, demonstrating an unquenchable thirst for stories that kindle faith and inspire transformation.
As the world's foundations shift, it is essential that we heed the call to repent and turn to God while time remains our ally. The urgency is palpable, and the need for faith-based films that touch hearts and ignite spiritual awakening has never been greater.
Angelise Milton was born and raised in Freeport, New York. As the middle child of three, she grew up in a household where both of her parents served as pastors. Her early years in the church have played a pivotal role in shaping her into the humble woman of God she is today.
Work wise, she is a determined screenwriter and aspiring actress in the midst of an exciting transition from the fashion industry to the world of film. Although her current role as a Technical Designer pays the bills, her heart truly belongs to storytelling. Her journey began in 2006, when she was just 16 years old and profoundly moved by her late grandmother's book, "Aren't You the Family We're Talking to from Heaven?" - a real-life account of a supernatural journey. This deeply touching revelation ignited a lifelong passion in Angelise, driving her to share her grandmother's extraordinary testimony with the world.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Design, at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Prior to this, she earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Fashion Design, at Nassau Community College. Having honed her skills during her college years with a minor in English, Angelise embarked on a self-taught path into screenwriting, crafting a compelling Christian screenplay that she initiated in May 2011. After being in this for more than half her life, she believes it will lead countless hearts to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Beyond her creative pursuits, she finds joy in praise dancing, nature walks, and movie theatre visits!

Director and co-writer of The Chosen, the first multi-season series about the life of Jesus of Nazareth.
I always believed there was a God out there. High up in the heavens.
Far away. Now I know that not only is He very close to us, but He lives within us and is ever present in the earth today. That you can develop an intimate relationship with Him on a daily basis.
I’ve often heard “Jesus loves you,” and how He died for the sins of the world and how He came to save you and I. I would often think to myself, “save me from what?” This is our family’s real life story of how we were chosen by God to experience first hand deliverance and salvation for ourselves, through His vehicles of faith, power, love and mercy. I can truthfully and unashamedly say, “Yes, He lives and walks among us.”
For my family members and friends who witnessed this great deliverance, we will never be the same and we could never deny what great things God has done for our family. All the mercy He has bestowed on us. More importantly we have come to believe it was not all about us but His love for everyone. We were only chosen to be used by Him. It was so powerful an experience in that spirit world that I had to write about it. Not only that, I finally realized that was what God intended for me to do in the first place. It doesn’t end, the dreams and visions and de ja vus keep coming, so I have to keep writing about
God’s goodness.
Listen closely!
As she shares one of her greatest testimonies
which is visually demonstrated in the script.
How God revealed that I should portray her.
Sallymae was steady working on her second book before she went home to be with the Lord, and with God's guidance, I took up the mantle to complete it. The finished manuscript yearns for its moment in the publishing world as well.
In fact, this story turned into an exciting trilogy that I'm determined to bring to life. The second script is an adaptation of Sallymae's second book, and the third installment is deeply rooted in Roxanne's journals. Their close connection beautifully weaves the entire narrative together. Both of these projects are authored by me, and I have firm faith that God will bring them to fruition.

"If we never have this experience again, it's okay. The testimony couldn't get any better."
God Bless You!
